Mats Baribeau, a 27 year old professional Formula Drift driver, known for his unique car competing in Formula Drift began his journey in 2008 .
–2009 competed in the pro-am series DMCC.(Driftmania Canadian Championship)
–2010 competed in DMCC Pro series
–2011, finished second in the “Hold the Line” championship, earning him an FD license and becoming the 5th Canadian to earn his Formula Drift license.
In 2013, Mats competed in 5 of the 7 Formula Drift rounds as an FD rookie.
-Qualified 5th at Palm Beach
-Qualified 15th in Texas and made a top 16 appearance
-Qualified 15th in Irwindale
